The Report is broken down into two main sections: My personal experience with Cannabis & Oxycodone (M 595...generic Oxycontin 40mg) & the overall experience of all of my friends.

MY EXPERIENCE

I'm a 21 year old male who weighs about 300lbs, but carry most of it in the form of muscle. I've been smoking marijuana since I was about 12, drank heavily the summer when I was 13 and various times since, tried oxycodone in the form of percocet first at 14 and every once in a while since as percs, roxicets, and oxycontin, as well as valium, xanax, and ativan, have done coke and DXM (in the form of robitussin cough syrup)quite a few times starting at 15, done mdma quite a few times starting at 17. In short, I'm heavily experienced with substances used for intoxicating purposes and as a result tend to handle drugs better than most people.

Around 10:30PM at night, in an already happy, somewhat upbeat mood, I began:

T: 0:00 - I began by rubbing of the yellow outside which most people believe is the time release. After much research I've learned that this nothing to break the time-release mechanism within the Oxy, but just has become part of the habit. Anyway I broke approx 1/3 of the pill (~13mg) into four small lines and blew them all back to back alternating nostrils every line.

T: 0:10hr - I begin feeling the relaxation effect creeping in, but it isn't enough, so I repeat the process with another 1/3 of the pill (~13mg). Tolerance is a bitch with these pills, and goes up quickly.

T: 0:25hr - I'm really feeling the effects of the oxycodone. The nausea isn't a problem with me like it is for other people, but this isn't typical...most friends I've done it with end up even puking while doing a 'blue' (30mg Roxicet - Oxycodone immediate release).

T: 0:45-1:45hrs - The beginning of the high is slowly dissapating and being replaced with the rediculous sense of heavenly relaxation. On a note, the itching that accompanies the oxycodone buzz is beginning to set in. A lot of people hate this part of the high, and I've heard of friends using benadryl to stop the itching. Personally, I find it enjoyable...it feels so good to scratch the itches as well as serving as a pleasant reminder that I am indeed buzzed off the oxy.

T: 2:00hrs - I smoke marijuana on the regular, like about 2g of dro a day spread over about 4 blunts between me and my girlfriend. On a weekend it's easy for us to blow through like 3-4g a day. I roll up a .5g of dro and go to face it (smoking it alone). I get about halfway through, and I feel extrememly relaxed and high, but unable to finish the blunt. Each hit I take only brings about nausea feelings so I put it out.

T: 2:45-4:00hrs - I relax on my bed and enjoy the warm feelings and intense relaxation that consumes me and watch TV. Watching TV is something I do regularly, but while on on oxycodone and marijuana, I feel like I can't really move (or don't really want to) and the relaxation makes it a perfect way to pass the time while under it's influence. I began nodding in and out of consciousness (generally referred to as 'nodding out'). Even though I'm only passing out for a couple minutes at a time I often find myself looking at the clock thinking I had feel asleep for longer.

T 4:00hrs - I decided that the majority of the high is over, and decide to finish the other half of the blunt I had rolled earlier. The feelings of nausea seemed to creep in just as last time, though no where as severe.

T: ~4:30hrs - Sometime after smoking the blunt I laid back down and watched some NBA basketball on T.V. until my nodding out resulted in passing out for the night. Sleeping after doing oxycodone is one of my favorite things to do as it gives me such a deep sleep despite the fact that while sober or going to bed just on marijuana I wake up 3-6x a night. Also, I've heard that after doing oxycodone and beginning to nod out that it may be dangerous to fall asleep since the heart is already slowed, but I'm not 100% sure.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF MYSELF AND OTHERS
Sure, oxycodone sounds like a hell of a drug. I've done it quite a few times. Given my drug history at the beginning of the report, one would be quick to thing that at some point I had become addicted to at least one of those substances...but I have not. However, I have given up doing oxycodone regulary, and have come to limit myself on how often I do it because I found myself perhaps falling into the trap of addiction.

Sadly enough, many...many of my friends weren't so responsible. Oxycodone has spread through my town like an epidemic, with the people who haven't at least tried it becoming almost non-existant, and those who've become addicted becoming the majority. Most of the people I've known who have become addicts, often fufill the stereotypes put forward in most movies for crack addicts. Friends of mine are facing serious jail time for stealing and forging prescription pads and burglarizing houses for when they couldn't find/afford the drug. Other's have lost their lives, both figuratively and literally. A lot of the people who have fallen into it aren't the same person..their personality is different and you can see all of their hobbies/interests, hell even their children take the backseat to their need of oxycodone.

Tolerance goes up extremely fast when using it on a regular basis. When I first used it, 15mg insufflated had me really feeling its effects, while now I do anywhere from 25-40mg for a decent high. Other people I know are up to taking about 5-6 blues a day...thats 180mg, and about $100-120 a day where I live. Many have tried to quit..but without strong will to actually stop using and the help to do most relapse as soon as the withdrawl symptoms set in. (Flu like symptoms, extreme fatigue, diarrhea, among others).

CONCLUSION
Oxycodone is a hell of a drug, and can really be a great way to relax. However, one needs to learn how to use it in EXTREME moderation due to its addictive nature, as well as the potential dangers. Be Safe and Enjoy.
