Canada #
PMA is a restricted drug in Canada according tot he Food and Drugs Act. Upon summary conviction for possession, first offence penalty is a fine of up to $1,000 and/or up to six months' imprisonment; for subsequent offences $2,000 and/or one year, upon conviction by indictment $5,000 and/or three years. Trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking are punishable upon summary conviction by up to 18 months' imprisonment and upon conviction by indictment up to 10 years. (2000)
