DESCRIPTION
Hops is a sturdy climbing perennial vine with dark green, sharply-toothed leaves. Male and female flowers are on separate plants. Male flowers are in loose bunches, 3 to 5 inches long while female flowers grow in leafy yellow-green cone-shaped "hops".
